    This is for pre-registration for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Edison Format World Championship Qualifier.
    Regular event pre-registration is $40 for entry.
    This event is run by Atlanta GOAT Format in conjunction with Format Library.

    Important Details Below:
    Date: Saturday, October 5th
    Location: Charlies Collectible Show. 6009 Memorial Dr Unit 14, Stone Mountain, GA 30083
    Time: Doors open at 9am. Event fires at 10:30am
    • Cutoff will begin at 10:15am. So make sure you are in line promptly!
    ENTRY IS $40 for the Main Event!
    Pre-registration will close at 11:59pm EST Sunday, September 30th.
    • After this deadline, the price will go to $45 (same as door rate)
      • NO REFUNDS!
    We are also offering a HIGH ROLLERS Prize pool for an additional $100 entry fee.

    We will offer an event specific item for pre-registering with us.

    Deck lists are REQUIRED!
    • We are offering you the ability to submit them digitally but, once submitted you cannot make changes to the list.

    The tournament format will be Edison format.
    Prizing Breakdown of Main Event PRIZE POOL:
    • 1 of every 25 participants will receive an invite to the EWC (ONLINE) hosted by Format Library!
    • PRIZE POOL IS UP TO *$4,500 CASH** (See exceptions & details below)
      • Our prize pool(s) payout is entirely based on turnout, so the more people the larger the prize! Below is our turnout requirements for specific prize pool payouts!
      • Breakdown of turnout needed per pool is;
      • 180 Players = $4,500 Cash Pool
      • 125 Players = $3,000 Cash Pool
      • 75 Players = $1,500 Cash Pool
      • 60 Players = $1,000 Cash Pool
      • Anything lower will play for guranteed Prize Pool of $750.
      • (These are SOFT #s, we obviously want the best prizing for our turnout, so we will adjust if these thresholds are fairly close)
      • Currently we have no player cap, if this changes it will be updated & announced.
        • Prize Pool is subject to change based on poor or exceptional turnout.

    • 1st Place: $525
    • 2nd Place: $325
    • 3rd Place: $200
    • 4th Place: $150
    • 5th-8th Place: $75 Each
    $4,500 Cash Prize Pool for Top 8 (180 Players Needed)
    • 1st Place: $1650
    • 2nd Place: $1000
    • 3rd Place: $600

    Top 8 additional prizing
    • 1st place will take home a GRIMOIRE CthulhuDeck Box!
    • We are working on a special prize for 1st - 3rd
    • Custom token with placement!
    • A couple packs of sleeves from Pristine Protection
    • Players will receive 2-player playmats & tokens with their placement on them!
      • These will be swapped with entry playmats
    HIGH ROLLERS PRIZE POOL INFORMATION
    • Payment for this will be taken at the venue, prior to the event starting.
    • Entry to the High Rollers Pool is an additional $100 to normal entry.
      • Cash payouts & places paid will be based on the number of HIGH ROLLER entrants, and ONLY HIGH ROLLER entrants are eligible to win this prize pool. Payouts will be based on final tournament finish for players in this pool.
      • $90 of your payment will be placed in a separate HIGH ROLLERS pool. 
        • The other $10 will be added to the Main Event Prize Pool payouts.
        • Example; if the highest finish amongst HIGH ROLLERS is 7th Place in the MAIN EVENT, then that player will be eligible to win the 7th Place Prize from main event and the 1st place payout for the HIGH ROLLERS pool.
    TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE :
    • 45 minute Swiss rounds with a cut to top 8.
      • These will be Edison Format Time Rules, Not CURRENT FORMAT RULES.
      • Time Rules will follow the CLASSIC TIME Rules of "Turns". 45 minute rounds will be played.
    • Finals will have no time limit.
    • EWCQ will play out to a conclusion at CCS, there will not be a Day 2.
    • INTENTIONAL DRAWS ARE NOT PERMITTED. 
      • If these are done, due to previous issues we will have to remove said player from the event.
    The tournament format will be Edison format, and rules will be enforced using rulings from the Edison time period (March 2010).

      • NO OCG CARDS, HL Cards are allowed for now.
      • Note taking is not allowed.
    SIDE EVENTS: 2, 4 & 8 player cash prize side events will be run on demand.
    • These can be any format as long as enough players sign-up! 
    • $15 entry, 100% will be paid out to the winner.
